You may know of Twinsen’s Adventure and Twinsen’s Odyssey by the more familiar UK names of Little Big Adventure 1 & 2, but no matter what you call them, you should be interested to hear that they are in the process of being remastered for PC and console.
They’ll be coming from Studio [2.21] as they have today announced that remastered versions of two 1990’s gaming classics, Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure and Twinsen’s Odyssey – known as Little Big Adventure 1 & 2 in the United Kingdom – are in development, with plans to release in 2024. Both titles, Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure and Twinsen’s Odyssey were gaming classics of the 1990’s, first developed by Adeline Software International and published by Electronic Arts (Europe) and Activision. The first game came out in 1994, followed by the second in 1997, as players went out to follow Twinsen, a common citizen living under the dictatorship of Dr. Funfrock in the first game, to save the inhabitants of his planet.
These games were then re-released on Steam in 2012 and it’s there where you’ll discover wishlisting opportunities for both Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure Remastered and Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure 2 Remastered.
Now though we are getting full remasters, with everything you would expect of a modern day game. That will include:

- Entirely revamped controls: Analogic controls will allow a more subtle control over Twinsen. New abilities such as evading and the possibility to change weapons instantly will create new possibilities for players. The option to use original controls will be offered for gaming purists.
